The Buffalo Bisons will celebrate Fan Appreciation Night at 6:05 p.m. tonight (Tuesday) during their final home game of the 2012 season against the rival Rochester Red Wings at Coca-Cola Field.
The final home game of each season has traditionally been the Bisons opportunity to thank their fans for all their great support through another exciting season of baseball and fun at Coca-Cola Field.

A statue honoring the late Mayor Jimmy Griffin will be unveiled in the Coca-Cola Field Plaza at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, according to the Buffalo Bisons. The Bisons have a home game that night against Lehigh Valley at 7:05 p.m.
The Buffalo Bisons today announced their 2013 schedule and game times for the 128th season of professional baseball in Buffalo. Great baseball, exciting events and fun promotions will begin with Opening Day at 2:05 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013, against the Rochester Red Wings.
The Buffalo Baseball Hall of Fame announced today that former Bisons outfielder Brian Giles and former Bisons first baseman Russ Morman have been elected to the Buffalo Baseball Hall of Fame.
Giles and Morman will be formally inducted during special Hall of Fame ceremonies before the Bisons fridaynightbash! on Aug. 10, as Buffalo hosts the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees at 7:05 p.m.
It took him a little while to get his bat warmed up, but when he did, Buffalo Bisons outfielder and Triple-A All-Star Game representative Valentino Pascucci electrified Coca-Cola Field in downtown Buffalo.
Buffalo Sabres Head Coach Lindy Ruff has been added to the lineup for the Celebrity Home Run Derby at 7 p.m. Monday, July 9, at Coca-Cola Field.
The Bisons also announced that there are only 2,500 tickets remaining for Monday’s Home Run Derby, and 2,000 tickets for Wednesday’s Triple-A All-Star Game. Tickets to both events can be purchased at Bisons.com or by calling 843-4373.
As one would expect from a last-place team, the Red Wings are sending just one player to the Triple-A All-Star Game in Buffalo July 11.
Shortstop Pedro Florimon is a reserve behind starter Pedro Ciriaco of Pawtucket and has a .253/.315/.360 line in 48 games with Rochester since being promoted from Double-A. The 25-year-old also has seven doubles and three home runs in 186 at-bats with the Red Wings.
The Buffalo Bisons have announced the program for the 18th annual KeyBank Independence Eve Celebration with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus on Tuesday, July 3, as the Herd hosts the Durham Bulls at Coca-Cola Field at 6:05 p.m.
