New Orleans 8 beat Bisons 3, in last Spring Training game - Blog

Posted by bob plezia on April 2, 2011 - 6:14pm

Three Bisons had 2 hits, Pridie, Nieuwenhuis and Evans, out of the 9 with Nieuwenhuis hitting 2 long balls to the wall. But the pitching namely, Delatorre and Lujan, giving up 2 HRs to Zepher's Cervanek for 5 RBIs was the diff. The Zephers had 12 hits.
It should be fun watching Nieuwenhuis, Lutz and Evans hit this season. Tejada (ss), Hernendez and Turner (2B) should be good in the infield.
Pitchers to watch, Mejia, Isringhausen, if he joins the Bisons, Igarashi and Misch.
