Posted by shawnkrest on November 8, 2010 - 9:52am

I normally just think of 60 Minutes as the show that screws up my recording of the Amazing Race when football games run long.  But I seem to remember a time not so long ago when the show earned the right to run “in its entirety” no matter how late the game went.

Amateur Middleweight Patrick Gorman barely made it back to his corner after a second round beating at the hands of Jesse Hall.  I'd have called the fight, but he answered the bell for the third round and scored a takedown to clinch the victory.

This past Saturday, at UFC 121 in Anaheim, California, Brock Lesnar looked like he was going to repeat his performance from UFC 116 where he would take a lot of punches to the face, but somehow still win.
