It's time for the NHL to end long-term contracts - Blog

Posted by StrawMR on July 3, 2012 - 6:28pm

Prospect Breakdown: Branden Gaunce - Blog

Posted by Michael Straw on June 11, 2012 - 11:10pm

Brendan Gaunce has all the makings of an elite NHL prospect. The top offensive player for the Belleville Bulls, Gaunce is a big-bodied, powerful center who knows how to put the puck in the net. Prospect Breakdown: Radek Faksa - Blog

Posted by Michael Straw on June 7, 2012 - 4:55pm

The NHL Draft is fast approaching and the Buffalo Sabres have a plethora of picks, including two in the first round. A player that the Sabres could very well be targeting is Kitchener Ranger center Radek Faksa.

Born in Opava, Czech Republic, Faksa came over to the Rangers by way of the 2011 CHL Import Draft and had an immediate impact with the Rangers. So much so that head coach Steve Spott considers Faksa another Gabriel Landeskog. That’s high praise for a guy who’s only been in the league for one season.
