Posted by mpmsportzph on November 13, 2012 - 3:19am

The Buffalo Bills lost a heartbreaker to the Patriots on the road in Foxborough 37-31. Despite going toe to toe with one of the leagues premier teams, a late fourth quarter interception by Devin McCourty doomed the Bills in yet another bid to win their first game at Gillette Stadium. On a day that began with a glorious salute to our nations veterans, the Bills were not only able to contain Brady and company, but put up a decent offensive showing.

The Buffalo Bills season opener tomorrow versus the NY Jets at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey may be the most important kickoff to a season for the Bill's in the last 13 years, arguably since the playoff years of 98' and 99'. For the Jets and head coach Rex Ryan, the game in some ways may overshadow the two AFC championship game appearances.

Posted by StrawMR on August 6, 2012 - 11:39am

The Buffalo Bills have a solid safety tandem in Jairus Byrd and George Wilson. Last season, the two combined for over 200 tackles, and the veteran/youngster on the rise have given the Bills a nice one-two punch at the position. With a bolstered pass rush due to the signings of Mario Williams and Mark Anderson, the safeties will have a better opportunity to make plays. However, second-year safety Da'Norris Searcy has been seeing some first team reps at strong safety throughout the opening days of training camp.
